When it comes to dialing in your brews, there are numerous factors to consider such as water mass, grind setting, and total brew time. Luckily, Brew Timer is equipped with powerful features, including grinder-specific settings and smart water adjustments, to help you meticulously track and control these variables effortlessly. Additionally, the automatic brew journal conveniently records your brewing data, enabling you to replicate your perfect cup of coffee with ease.

Brew Timer boasts an extensive library of 28 included recipes covering popular brewing methods such as Aeropress, Hario V60, Chemex, and more. Furthermore, it supports 36 different grinders, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of equipment. If that's not enough, you can even add your own recipes and grinders to suit your unique needs.

But Brew Timer doesn't stop there. The app offers comprehensive coffee tracking functionality that allows you to record everything from basic information like the name of the coffee and the roaster, to more detailed aspects such as the varietal and harvest date. To further streamline this process, on iOS 15 and later versions, Brew Timer even supports scanning coffee bags to automatically extract these details for you.

After each brew session, Brew Timer generates a personalized Brew Journal entry for you. This feature automatically tracks key parameters such as grind size, coffee and water amounts. You can also add your own notes to capture your thoughts on techniques and taste, providing valuable insights for future brewing endeavors.

What sets Brew Timer apart is its intuitive Brew Dashboard. With this feature, you can effortlessly add tasting notes, refer to specific coffee details, and make adjustments to refine your recipe for subsequent brews.

Brew Timer supports both metric (mL/g) and imperial (fl. oz/oz) units of measurement, and it even converts recipes to Aeropress-specific units for your convenience. Although using a scale is not mandatory, it is highly recommended for the best results.
